Ok so I am going to admit it now: there is only one place I want to be right now and no it's not the beach (for once) it's the NYFW. Have you seen all the awesome photos of day 1? I really loved the BCBG collection, the colour combination, the architectural shapes, the modern Grecian feel lightness and the Richard Chai LOVE collection. I have a feeling it's going to be all about knee length next season. So who are you following: tweets? Blogs? Online Magazines? I am keeping it simple:
- Garance Dore
- NY Magazine
- Tommy Ton for Style.com
- Our local HK girl Cindy
As for my outfit, my hubster always complains that I am more like a sulky teenager than an elegant grown up woman. So this is my last Friday's attempt at ladylike. The ballet pump version is friendly for Hong Kong streets. The high heel one is the more serious "elegant" version. I found my old YSL Downtown in my storage, it has been through hell and London winters (same thing) and still looks almost new. I am wearing my gold H&M collar which I think gives the dress a bit more edge. I did intend to spend the day in heels, but guess what I ended up spending most of the day in ballet pumps. One day I'll learn to do ladylike but for now I like being a sulky teenager.
Outfit: Dress Moschino, Shoes ZARA, pumps Massimo Dutti, glasses Ray Ban, Bag YSL, collar H&M
