Mary, Roksanda, Todd, Nicolas et al

What could be more incredible than having all the coolest London designers under one roof in Hong Kong on a Monday evening? The list below reads like a dream manual to all the most talented names of the British fashion scene:

E. Tauz Erdem Jonathan Saunders Marios Schwab Mary Katrantzou Nicholas Kirkwood Peter Pilotto Roksanda Ilincic Todd Lynn

The s/s 2012 colours, the cuts, the endless shoe porn, friendly and funny Todd Lynn, lovely and charming Patrick Grant of E.Tauz and amazingly sweet Mary Katrantzou, a definite remedy from post holiday blues.

Mary's prints are incredible I have been a huge fan ever since I saw her Ming vase dress. She was one of the sweetest, humble people I have met in a long time. The best part was when she asked if I wanted to try one of her incredible creations. HELL YES!!!!  I grabbed the long dress. Being a sample size I did have to get squeezed into it. (Note to self: must eat less on holiday :) It was incredible to wear something so beautiful and stand next to designer who created it. Thank you Mary you are amazing!

My second favourite collection had to be the Roksanda Illinic. Unfortunately, she didn't make it herself as she recently had a baby and wanted to spend time with him, but she still sent her lovely representative and the exquisite clothes. Her use of colour is always astonishing. Rich, elegant, yet delicate, each collection is a symphony of colours and shapes. I wanted to own every single piece. The silky ropes were actually belts but I would love to wear them as chokers.

P.S. Check out the Louboutin collaborations and the Nicolas Kirkwood shoes porn, the Louise Gray creepers, the beautiful bodice by Peter Pilotto, the pefect casual sexy grey knitted jumper dress by Todd Lynn.

I always find it incredible what a human mind is capable of creating!

  1. Oh man, I love seeing you in so many prints/colours! The dress looks nice (: I especially like the sleeves on the sweater (shirt?) in the picture fourth up from the bottom. That's amazing that so many British designers were there and that you go to see so much; seems like a truly fantastic time!
